Salted Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Today I wanna talk about browned butter cookies for a moment, specifically salted brown butter chocolate chip cookies. 🤤 If, like me, you’ve never baked cookies with browned butter, STOP whatever you’re doing and give it a try. I promise you, you won’t regret it!
If you’ve ever wondered why the cookies at the bakeries taste so much better than the ones you bake at home — this could be why! I’m pretty confident the browned butter is their secret ingredient…it’s up for debate but I’m willing to put money on it.
Salted Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
We’ll get to the recipe next, but first let’s also chat about the salt in this particular recipe. YES, it makes the cookies taste better! I get it, you may think adding salt to cookie would taste…odd. But trust me when I say, it makes it better. It just gives it an extra flavor profile, that sure, you may not be expecting, but man does it make a difference! It takes your normal chocolate chip cookie recipe to the next level, gourmet bakery level in my opinion.
